We actively support charitable organizations in the communities where we live, work and serve. Together with reach!, our employee volunteer program, Quest Diagnostics has helped charities through fundraising efforts and by donating our time. These are just a few of the deserving causes that we've supported recently.
Our National Charity - Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
The employees of Quest Diagnostics selected the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as our national charity in 2009 Through reach!, our employees continue to donate their time to help raise funds and awareness for this worthy cause, all with the goal of finding cures for blood cancers like Leukemia, Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma, myeloma and myelodysplastic syndromes. These related cancers involve the uncontrolled growth of cells with similar functions and origins. Leukemia alone causes more deaths than any other cancer among children and young adults under the age of 20. But thanks to the participation of our employees in fundraising events like “Light the Night,” we’re helping to improve the lives of over 800,000 people effected by these diseases with vital, lifesaving research and patient services.

Together with our employees, Quest Diagnostics has raised over four million dollars for the American Cancer Society. As the leader in cancer diagnostics, we’ve seen firsthand the vital role that early detection plays in treating cancer. But early detection is just a start. We’re committed to fighting and winning the battle against cancer, the second-most common cause of death in the United States. Together with The American Cancer Society, we’re helping to improve the quality of life for more than 10 million people living with cancer in the United States.
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
Juvenile Diabetes affects over 16 million Americans. That’s about one in every 20 people - a statistic we can’t live with. That’s why Quest Diagnostics and its employees have partnered with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Since 1997, we’ve helped this deserving cause raise over four million dollars for much needed research. Together, we’re committed to finding a cure.
