ExamOne Supports Life Insurance Awareness Month in September

As part of Life Insurance Awareness Month in September, ExamOne produced a news release that aired 1,754 times at radio stations nationally, reaching an estimated 5.57 million listeners to promote life insurance and directing them to ExamOne’s Webpage dedicated to Life Insurance Awareness Month created for the initiative, ExamOne.com/life.

The web page features videos from the Life Foundation stressing the importance of life insurance in a person’s financial plans and a radio piece featuring Dr. Jim Palmier, ExamOne’s medical director.

“We want to support our partners in the life insurance industry by raising awareness about the need for insurance,” said Troy Hartman, Chief Executive of ExamOne.  “We want to help consumers be better prepared for insurance exams and continue to improve the process.” 

In the radio piece distributed nationally, Palmier urged prospective applicants to prepare properly in order to get an accurate blood sugar reading — drink water and avoid high cholesterol foods, caffeine or nicotine before any insurance exam. 

According to LIMRA, "Over the past 50 years, the proportion of U.S. adults with life insurance protection has declined to an all-time low. The likelihood of being without life insurance protection has dramatically increased for every age group over the past six years." 

ExamOne aimed to use the radio news release to engage a broader audience in awareness about life insurance and the important role it has in financial security and take action.
