ExamOne service updates

We continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and its variant closely while following recommendations regarding PPE and exposures precautions from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Our mobile examiners are considered essential health care workers and the Quest Patient Service Centers (PSCs) are considered health care essential businesses.

Masking update: The CDC guidance specifically indicates that everyone in a “healthcare setting” should continue to wear masks and adhere to other established guidelines, including using PPE, maintaining social distancing, and washing hands regularly. We are following the CDC guidelines.   

  • Our examiners will wear facial protection that covers eyes, nose and mouth during examinations. We strongly encourage exam participants to wear a mask during their in-home appointment. Masks are required for collections at Quest Diagnostic Patient Service Centers.

Examinations are available nationwide for applicants and patients who are interested and who have passed the precautionary screening questions prior to the exam date and time. We are processing examinations in the available Quest Patient Service Centers (PSC) and ExamOne branch offices across the United States.

Collections for ExamOne’s Health and Life Sciences and non-life insurance clients and patients are deemed a “medical necessity” and are still being performed.

We will continue to accommodate applicants to the best of our ability; however, quarantine requirements and precautions may impact our collection network. We are monitoring our network availability and scheduling/completion turn-around-time and will post a notice when any availability or delays exceed 5-10% deviation from average in a specific geographic location.
