Economic Development Sedalia-Pettis County Welcomes ExamOne to the Community

New service center to bring nearly 100 jobs to the Sedalia community featuring state-of-the-art technology and employment diversification

ExamOne, a Quest Diagnostics Company and leader in individual risk assessment services for life insurance companies, announced today that it will open a new service center in Sedalia, Missouri to collect health history information for life insurers across the country.

“As our industry evolves and insurers seek access to health history information, ExamOne is committed to providing quick and accurate health assessments for life insurance applicants,” said Stuart Smith, President of ExamOne. “As a leading employer in the Kansas City area for more than 30 years, we are excited to expand into Sedalia and keep jobs close to home.”

ExamOne’s investment in Sedalia includes refurbishing the Bing’s East grocery building, a landmark in the community for more than 50 years. When finished later this summer, the facility will house nearly 100 employees who will complete specialized medical terminology training and utilize the latest call center technology to connect with insurance companies and consumers.
