Celebrating Life Insurance Awareness Month
ExamOne takes time to recognize the importance of life insurance during Life Insurance Awareness Month. Since 1972, we have strived to make it easier for our clients and consumers to protect more families with life insurance.
Making the process easier for the industry and consumers
Every September our industry takes time to recognize the importance of life insurance during Life Insurance Awareness Month. This year ExamOne, a Quest Diagnostics Company, joins the life insurance industry and Life Happens in sharing the message that getting life insurance is an easy decision to make for the ones you love.
For 50 years, ExamOne has been helping insurers and individuals complete the life insurance application process with ease. We have evolved and adapted to the changing industry while staying dedicated to improving the applicant experience. Our goal, like our insurer clients, is to help protect more families. Together, with a combination of tools and companies, we have helped protect more than 100 million people and their loved ones.
“We are committed to serving applicants, agents, and life insurance carriers and will continue to support the importance of life insurance,” said ExamOne President, Subu Ramachandran. “This year we have made significant investments in our people, systems, and examiner network to help support our clients and make getting life insurance easier.”
Offering consumer-friendly solutions is a top priority
According to PwC Future of Customer Experience Survey, nearly 80% of American consumers point to convenience, friendly service, and speed as the most important elements of a positive customer experience. That’s why we are committed to making it convenient for applicants to complete their exams at a time and location that is most comfortable for them. Through our scheduling platform, ScheduleNow™, applicants can easily schedule their exam appointment at an ExamOne office, Quest Diagnostics Patient Service Center (PSC), or with a mobile examiner.
According to our applicant satisfaction survey, 50% of respondents stated they chose the location because it was “most convenient for me”. By providing more choices of exam locations, including 110 regional offices, 1,200 Quest PSCs performing life insurance exams, and 5,000 mobile phlebotomists who can complete exams at applicants’ homes or offices, consumers are more likely to find a convenient option for their lifestyle.
We continue to grow our examiner network and Quest Diagnostics Patient Service Center locations to improve the paramedical experience and offer more location options for applicants. By the end of the year, we plan to add 1,200 examiners to our network.
Effective and timely communication is the final element to round out an overall positive life insurance exam experience. Text messages are available to better reach consumers and improve turnaround times. Consumers can fully manage their exam appointments through ScheduleNow, receive appointment reminders and confirmations, easily access information on how to prepare for the exam through our interactive text message program, and receive a notification when their laboratory results are available for viewing.*
